Game Restart

After many, many years and due to the migration to Libera.Chat I am restarting the primary game instance.

This restart is scheduled to occur at 00:00:01 UTC on Saturday, June 5th, 2021.

You will be required to register a new character and new class:

/msg IdleBot REGISTER <char name> <password> <char class>

Where 'char name' can be up to 16 chars long, 'password' can be up to 8 characters, and 'char class' can be up to 30 chars.

Do note: it is required that you are registered with nickserv in order to play the game as the channels are set +r (prevent unregistered nicks from joining) as an anti-abuse measure. Please see this article for more information on nick registration on Libera.Chat.

It is currently planned to restore the legacy freenode game back in channel #idlerpg-legacy but at the moment there is no estimated timeline for this.
